A childs imagination is endless...

So, we decided to skip going to the Bucs game and stayed home instead. Jesse and Victoria came over and Victoria and I made soap. Lots of soap. Victoria made 12 bars of soap.

We started with her looking through fragrances and picking her favorites. She settled on Pearberry, Energy and Grapefruit.

I then asked her to smell each fragrance again and imagine what she thinks that smell would look like in color. For pearberry she chose pink with glitter, Energy was lime green and blue, and grapefruit became yellow and orange.

The grapefruit wasn't ready to be unmolded yet, I will post photos of those tomorrow. We had a great time and Victoria left with a bag full of goodies!

Where does the day go?

So, I had all the good intentions today of blogging about the new products and gift sets that will be available online by next week...That was until my day started! Had to take my Dad to the airport at the ungodly hour of 4:45 a.m. (Why do we schedule these early flights?) Took Kyle to school at 7 a.m., researched a few new recipes until I went to do some errands. Home from errands at 3:30. Showered, changed and now on my way to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life monthly meeting. (Did I mention I'm chairing this event in May?)

Since it will be late when I get home, all photos and new soap postings will have to wait until tomorrow. (Sorry Carlee) :)

One thing down and how many more to go?

I'm up to my eyeballs in soap and body and bath products. My website isn't done, Lather Lovely Facebook page is there (with nothing on it), my labels aren't finished, but I felt I need to post a blog before my head explodes! This way I can feel that I have at least finished one thing!

I wanted to post a photo from my trip to Bellingham, Washington. I went out there for a training class with Anne-Marie Faiola of Bramble Berry, Otion and SoapQueen.com. It was wonderful getting to meet her and spend a day learning from her.
Off to make more soaps....
